da Moose: answered: "I don't believe that I would voluntarily choose to work for any company in the US. Here in the UK we get minimum 4 weeks paid holiday (including permanent part-time employees). It seems that people have to work a lot of years for the same company before they get more than 2 weeks. I'd rather have a life than be rich."

Jeffro2pt0 answered: "Spring because life comes back to the trees, flowers bloom, it's really the beginning of something new and the temperature gets warmer the deeper into spring you go."

Jeffro2pt0 answered: "Not sure if it's considered a social network but Twitter is the one I use and get the most fulfillment out of."

Jeffro2pt0 asked Adam Ostrow: "How do you work for Mashable as lead editor and Qwizzy at the same time? Are there two of you?"

Adam Ostrow: answered: "Well, Mashable is my day (albeit, a very long day ...) job, and Qwizzy is my nights and weekends project at the moment. We still manage to get a lot done at Qwizzy I think because we efficiently manage the project. I create tickets in our PM system, and Peter addresses them when he has time. We don't need to work on the site the same hours at all and can still get a lot done."

Adam Ostrow: answered: "I think it's pretty hyprocritical on Google's part. I blogged about it at http://tinyurl.com/328xvt and as a result, Qwizzy will probably be doomed to a life of PR0 :-("

Peter: answered: "I think its perfectly fine to feel a sense of empathy for other people who are enduring hardship. Every home is in some kind of prime disaster zone, I live in a flood zone. I have flood insurance, but that money will never really be able to replace whatever would be lost."

LadyLuck: answered: "no. It's unfortunate, yes...and yes, I will donate some money...but I don't "feel sorry" for them. Just like living where there are Tornados or Hurricanes...if you want to live there, it's the risk you take."

But if you are going to live somewhere, and you have alternatives--some people don't--then ultimately it's up to you to know the risks and potential problems, and to plan accordingly. Not wanting to put in the effort, or not wanting to think about it, or hoping that somebody else will do it for you--these don't cut it."

Andrew: answered: "As bad as it sounds, I actually do not feel sorry for them. As a matter of fact, I cannot wait for the news coverage to be OFF of them, for heaven's sake."

Josie: answered: "Yes. There are natural disasters anywhere you go, so you pretty much have to suck it up and move to where you'd like. If shit happens, then shit happens. All you can do is prepare for the worst and hope for the best, then hopefully get yourself out in time."
